New Year’s Eve Wedding

Alexandra & Sam’s New Year’s Eve Wedding at Colonel Francis Beatty Park

Alexandra had always dreamed of getting married on New Year’s Eve. But finding the perfect venue was not easy. Until she saw Colonel Francis Beatty Park. As it turns out, Sam used to come to this very park and sit on a Park Bench and look at the lake, before he even knew Alexandra. He had tried searching for it on-line, but couldn’t remember the name.  Luckily, as I was helping them find a location that fit their criteria, I sent her a link to this location. Low and behold, it was the park that Sam had been trying to find!  Since their favorite spot to hang out is the mountains or park, it’s no wonder this woodsy lakeside venue was their dream come true!

Wedding at Colonel Francis Beatty Park

Believe it or not, Alexandra & Sam met at a gas station while pumping gas.  They say opposites attract. Sam’s quiet personality is the perfect match for Alexandra’s bigger than life personality! When you see these two together it makes you smile, because it’s obvious they are smitten with each other. I was so glad they chose to do a “first look”, so that we had plenty of time to photograph some of the most important images of the day!

Alexandra is a hairstylist, which is probably why she had the most stunning wedding hairstyle I have ever seen! Their lakeside vows included a tree planting ceremony with Alexandra’s two children Roman & Taria. Although it was a chilly & gloomy day, their deep love for each other, as well as family & friends, was warmth enough to brighten this winter wedding.

Alexandra & Sam, I wish you much happiness, enduring peace, endless patience, and a lifetime of love for each other. May God bless you all, as you journey forward. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the journey! Much Love, Tess
